In 2004 our 1967 M35A2 grass fire truck ( since retired ) ran into a ford ranger that got in the way. The driver was a Korea War vet who drove deuces in truck convoy's while he was over there. He was a volunteer firefighter with our department since the 1950's. Sadly he passed away in 2005...

We had two different local shops do the steel work, hence the different paint jobs. We designed the WO/W deuce as a "heavy" brush truck ( the one with the walk-on front bumper ) and the W/W as a "light" brush truck. The W/W has worked out great pulling other fire department's deuces, 5-tons...

We use the NAPA belts as well with no problems. NAPA # 25-9510 Compressor 25-9470 for the other 2 belts

That's what we did when we replaced all of our torque rod ends. We jacked up that side of the truck a little bit, found a thin wall socket at NAPA that fit. Didn't need to remove the spring packs. I should have taken pics.......
