Looks like OSHA gone nuts to me. Generator could not have been more than 10kw given trailer size. No idea. Jerry

Jim, I don't weld. It's just the bottom and I just ordered 6 kits from Caswell. When I jump in, I jump in. Oh well. Lots of folks looking for tanks, am surprised they are available at that price. Please confirm. Jerry

Thanks guys for your comments on Caswell. Its breaking my budget, but I think I'll try it, even though the tank seems fine now. Have not yet put fuel in it and guess I won't if Caswell is the next step. BTW: Jim, hope your dad appreciates this. Ray 70, out of respect for your predicament...

johnray13 You are right and if you research inverters, some are pure sine and some are modified sine.

I have 400 amp service, as does my son. Having seen an interlock device, I designed and made two for me and 2 for him. Code legal or not, they are a good safety step. BTW: each unit must be cut to fit the box and it's design. I have GE and he has Square-D Jerry

I also have some stainless flex pipes from the laundry unit I bought to get the 003a. They are very nice, I'll use one for my 002a and 2 for the 003a. One left which I will likely keep. Can't believe how expensive ss flex is. Jerry

Shhhh! I couldn't be happier with the 10 kw I got last fall for summer outages and its 5 kw backup for winter outages. Got to take some new pics for the site as all the exterior metal has now been painted to blend better into the house/deck. Got 2 002a's recently that are also performers...
