I can only offer the parts book drawing at this time.
The GM part number for itme #5 is 14028931 "angle bracket"
Hope this helps or some else has an actual picture.
Your top through bolt on the starter is also key here as it has to have threads on the forward side to go throught the bracket...
I'm not too sure what the "extras" are that you are talking about.
If it is a whole steering column it is much easier to change the switch as you have wiring issues and the physical removal and installation of the assembly.
I change mine but only due to sever wear in the shaft.
The civy unit is...
On CUCV trucks unlike civy counter parts, the turn signals are live all the time.
This is so that the PMCS can be done without the key in the ignition.
The same flasher powers the 4-way flasher lights and the turn signals. Like wise the same fuse powers both as well. Essentially the push-pull...
I know that dollars are tight but the 150% colorized copies are the only way to go.
Secondly, the BEST way is to send Priority Mail, certified.
This will cost you about $6.00 or so but it is absolutely worth every penny.
You get this little green card that is legal proof of receipt.
E-mails and...
"Utility" is the designation for the 1009.
The M1008 and other similar is Cargo.
I can not answer for the ambulance version.
Edit: Per the TM and the description for the M1009 National Stock Number it is "Truck, Utility"

I would like to have two steps for the front bumper if they are the same low profile ones used for the tailgates on most M35s.
Please PM or e-mail me.

I ran across some pictures on S.S. (or another related site) of an active duty truck over in the sand that had this installed.
I beleive that this is an unoffical fabrication but it did have the tow bar in it on the front bumper. I wonder if this was an idea that was stolen from the wreckers...
This is the same light that would be up front between the two front seats in a cuvy truck.
I put one in my truck but the one up front is worthless. They were both brand new lights, lenses, and bulbs but the front one is only about 1/4 of the brightness that is needed to see inside the truck at...
Shoot your rivets in wet (with sealant) too and this will help tremendously.
And is you have any aluminum parts be sure to seal the mating-to-steel area with sealant too.
Dissimilar metal corrosion can get you without it.
Lot and lots of work but at least you know that it will be done right and...
If your engine sits for a day or two you will have 1 1/2 to 2 drops leak out.
No spillage when sitting overnight. This kit looks good on you.
Good luck, jimm1009
I would like to make a suggestion. If all the wiring is still there move the alternator to the right side of the engine. This is the normal area for a single alternaotr application due to it's beefier support system. The power steering pump is the weak link in the system and can cause...
But, as an A&P /IA, we've upped our standards, so up yours!
I love the FAA. They send me paper, I send them paper, they send me paper, and I send them some back.
And, we get paid for all this fun!

This required in all 50 states if the vehicle is never titled / registered in the civy world.
This is the first step to titling but I hope that the dealer is not just now asking for an SF-97 from G.L. or this could be a waiting game for you and him.
Verify that he has the actual title or I would...
Be more specific (descriptive) of the areas needed. My M35A2C wo/w is in the drive all the time and is stock except for the NAPA muffler installation.

Absolutely, this trip calls for all bearings including rear pivot bearings inspection & lube plus complete brake inspection, etc. plus all fluids & oils changed plus spare filters, etc.
I do no know the A3 at all but it is a very serious trip but could be done if PROPERLY planned out for all...
I would suggest to have airports, bus stations, rental cars, and taxi services lined up just to be safe (always have a Plan B & Plan C).
If you are going to drive (my vote, sorry guys) have your route planned including camping and hotels and look for members along that route for when, not if you...
Quoting the current LO with change 1 dated August 1988 as attached in PDF format (GO 80/90).
I'm sure with today's technology that there are actually better lubes available but this is the current, official military-use guide unless someone has an offical military revision out there.
