The primary fuel filter has a slightly larger bolt running through the housing than the secondary's do. When I barrowed the little washer/perch/fitting thing from a secondary fuel filter assembly had to drill it out a little bit so it could fit over the bolt. Other than that it fit very well...

I know the feeling! I leave on the 25th in my Deuce for Tacoma, Wa from riverside. I have made the trip 3 times now on an old motorcycle, but never in such an old truck that has been sitting for a while. Hopefully my trip goes as well as yours did!

Well, we are confident that we can construct a hitch for less than $100 total, and to rent a U-haul truck and trailer is over $1,000, before fuel. I think I need to look into other rental options, and/or maybe just go with a tow bar.
