I have been using Truck-Lite 35004R and 35004Ys. They are good for both 12v and 24v. And are military rated.

I am in the process of making my M101A3 meet the current federal trailer lighting specs. Just measured the distance between the outside of the fenders. 80 inches plus. Looks like I will need more lights.

I had planned on getting bushings but If its not needed thats one less thing to pay for.[/QUOTE Jeff]
I do not know the answer to that question Jeff. But I am interested in knowing if someone has the answer.
I have run desplined hubs for many years. They work fine. However those of you with M35A3s do not want to run them unless you put some sort of support in the end of the hub to hold the shaft. There is a bushing in the non A3 axles that was left out when they modified the older axles to handle...
Interesting question. I have a rebuilt by VSE 2007 M105A2 and a 2003 M101A3. Both are as they were rebuilt, no repaint. And both are just 383 green, no camo. I have heard one version of the answer and that was that it was up to the discretion of the commander of the unit that got the vehs...
I put this switch on all my trucks. The pictures were taken before I painted the truck. The switch is in the ground line between the battery and ground. This is the same part number that CAT, IH use on their heavy equipment sometimes. You can get the switch from Eric's
Battery Master...

You can find the difference in TM 9-2320-272-10 on page 1-14. If you do not have access to the manual you can download a copy on the LOGSA web site. Or you could go here to see the manual

How are you going to do the top folded over part? To bad you could not have found a parts box to get the top part. Do you have access to a metal brake?
Some interesting trivia on the lever. I was talking to a very smart truck driver about the lever and he told me that some of the new trucks no longer come with the lever. I know years ago all trucks came with the lever. He said there are a lot of truckers that just haul other folks trailers...
It has many names but the function is to be able to control the trailer brakes with out pushing on the foot brake. If the fifth wheel etc has been removed and the lines to the rear glad hands are still in operation you might want to make sure the lever is pushed up all the way or the brake...
Yes that is one of my trucks. I had the grill cover made at "New Life Canvas". The charge gal there is named Mona. The cover is different than the issue one if you were able to find one. After talking to CAT they told me that the inter cooler must have 1/3 of it open to the air at all times...
