Is passenger side floor vent assembly mounted on vertical surface down by feet shared by all cucv vehicles? Need to replace damaged unit on my M1009. Found gent on SS with one out of M1008. Pretty sure it is same as one I need for my M1009. Unable to cross check with TM. DMLII sends...

Have 1986 M1009 w/low miles and what appears to be original brakes. Replaced back shoes, wheel cylinders and parts kit. Shoes were worn down almost to metal. Hers my question.

Respectfully, DMLII

Have 86 M1009 that I would like to add center counsel to. Need handy place for small items and armrest. Has anyone something good on open market?:driver:
anyone know why military used silicone brake fluid in M1009? should i stay w/mil spec fluid? what gains do i get by sticking with it vs. going to regular fluid?
Have been told all keys are same for M1009? If true, those in know could easily steel my ride. Should I change out door, tailgate and ignition lock/tumbler assy's. If yes, whats easiest way to accomplish.
Exhaust gases coming through tailgate. Son and I engineered seal from home insulation and duct tape. Stopped gasses from entering. Anyone been down this road? Looking for more professional solution. Large gap to fill. Chevy must have received many complaints?
