Well, it's right around the corner. If todays weather is any indication of what things will be like then we are in for a great event! Nice 70 degrees today finally :) My original intent was to head down on Monday the 17th and stay through the entire event but the forecast is showing rain...

    Greasing the Steering Knuckle

Bjorn, nothing wrong with referring to the PS Mags all the time, IMO they are one of the best sources of info out there. All the info that didn't make it into the TMs and stuff learned the hard way in the field!

Best Thing You've Found in Your CUCV

Certainly not the best thing to find in a CUCV but I did find a bag of cocaine stuffed up under the driver seat on one of the 1009s I had!

LOW fuel level equals LOW fuel pressure

I read an artice in one of the PS magazines about not letting the deuce get below 1/4 tank of fuel. Don't remember which PS issue it was, but was for the multifuel.

just finished installing my new(to me) dashpad

I got a set of them hooks with one of my radio install kits, they were for holding the mic. Sean, if you want to get that dash to match your door panels and seats, the perfect match is made by SEM, burgundy, interior paint.

What's the secret for tightening the Deuce Park Brake cable?

The hardest part to me is having to use seven elbows to reach up in there. It's usually not that hrd just time consuming. Once you get it set up right shouldn't need to be readjusted for a long time. Just about every truck I've had though, the GIs were too lazy to take the time to adjust them...
