I love the versitility of my 101A2.
GM 8 bolt hub for simple replacement and a quality design.
The 101 is smaller in size than the newer 1101
The 1101 is close in size to a 105.
What is the average price the sell at auction for?
I bought my 101A2 from a guy that resales them.
Paid $500.00 and got to inspect it before I bought it.
Before and after:
Email the ebay seller of the $1200.00 lot.
and ask him to contact the winning bidder for you
to see if they would sell the valve out of the lot.
Worth a shot, I have bought several items this way.
Did you figure out wheels yet or are you keeping the black models on it?

You need a thin blade to get behind the head of the mushroom style cap.
Use a good knife or a wide wood chisel. They are the same type as the 101A2 uses.

The 101A1,2,3 have a tall tailgate height.
I would look for a quad trailer with a lower deck.
Plus the wheel wells would not provide a wide flat surface to haul.
