I scuffed mine tacked it down with solvent scraped and feathered any peeling and shou it in the back yard with a 12.99 Harbor Freight HVLP spray gun. I used solvent based auto Paint. Turned out just fine.
$150 is a steal. I have seen them sell between $200 and $1800 depending on condition.
Having a restorer as a friend is a big help. sand blasting and painting cost big money when you have someone else do the work.
