    Can't Jump My M1009

Miles... Most times a CUCV needs a jump its because the front battery is weak (since 99% of the electrical system runs off of it). You can jump just this battery with a 12v vehicle. Hook the jumper cables up so that battery is a direct match for your 12v vehicle battery. Basically pretend...

Anyone ever use an oil/water temp sensor to turn off oil/block heaters?

http://www.zerostart.com/UserFiles/File/08%20ZEROSTART%20GUTS%20US.pdf See around page 77. I always wanted the fancy plate with lights on page 78... but I am too cheap!

Anyone ever use an oil/water temp sensor to turn off oil/block heaters?

Zerostart (or one of the block heater companies) makes a t-stat you tape to a radiator house, plug the block heater into, and plug the t-stat into the wall....

Anyone ever use an oil/water temp sensor to turn off oil/block heaters?

They actually make thermostats special for this. Check the ZeroStart website....

Installing my glowplug button - few ?'s

I never trust the ohm reading... I always power them up to be sure. I think (reading from some other threads) that Wellman may have had a bad batch. Might be worth checking them all, and calling about them. They shouldnt have fried that easy.

Do a temporary bypass first. Turn the key on, and touch a wire to the blue terminal, and to ground. See if the relay energizes.
