Do some searching in the CUCV forum... I did this swap almost 3 years ago now...
I think there is a Dodge car on the market that uses a different tire size front/rear.... so they include a bottle of slime, and a 12 compressor instead of a spare....
that would work too!
You could go with my theory... I dont usually carry a spare. Tires are so decent these days, that as long as you have good ones, your chances of needing one are quite slim. Granted... with my 1009 I am never more than 20 minutes from the house....

Miles... Most times a CUCV needs a jump its because the front battery is weak (since 99% of the electrical system runs off of it). You can jump just this battery with a 12v vehicle. Hook the jumper cables up so that battery is a direct match for your 12v vehicle battery. Basically pretend...

See around page 77. I always wanted the fancy plate with lights on page 78... but I am too cheap!
Zerostart (or one of the block heater companies) makes a t-stat you tape to a radiator house, plug the block heater into, and plug the t-stat into the wall....
I never trust the ohm reading... I always power them up to be sure.
I think (reading from some other threads) that Wellman may have had a bad batch. Might be worth checking them all, and calling about them.
They shouldnt have fried that easy.
