Wait light is not on anywhere near long enough... that is a good indication the plugs are toasty fried.

Sounds like you have a different problem. You said the batts are fairly new? Have had this truck running at all yet?

You really need to look at what you are doing before you blow a battery up in your face!!! You need to jump using + on the rear battery, and - on the front battery. This is 24v.

When you say you 'got it' on the switch. You ARE aware the switch handle needs to be pulled out, in order to achieve the top most (on) position.

I dont think it was particles in my case... just gummed up.

I dont recall for sure in the original trays... Its been 3+ years since I swapped them out to the Arctic boxes... Which they are slightly snug in, but fit fine. They are a little short for them... I suppose 31's would be better, but I had 65's before so thats what I replaced them with.

Some guys use group 31's... I just put a pair of group 65's in mine today.

Eric... Mine was brand new (NOS heater kit) when I put it in. I still had to clean the valve.... It doesnt take long to do it... get a can of carb cleaner, take the valve off, and just take it apart carefully on a clean bench. There isnt much to it.

When I bought mine, I did the 1200 miles home from KS at roughly 75-80... It loved that speed.

So instead of arbitrarily converting it because you are ignorant... why not read up a little, look at the schematics, and ask questions? Questions about the stock system are MUCH easier to answer, as opposed to some off the wall hack job conversion....
