I don't understand the above statement about the same price range. The pics you posted are for trailers currently waiting to be auctioned so there is no price yet. Who knows what they'll end up at. And I would bet the prices will not be similar when the auction ends.

:ditto: As Bjorn said, use the CB mic. It would be neat if you could somehow use the headset boom mic for transmitting on the CB. The one thing I did notice with the CB tied into the Vic-1 was that it wasn't very loud. Don't know if that's a common issue. Maybe the CB needs an amp fat lady sings ?

Just because they had a few hundred of them listed, and they were for the 5T, and were practically giving them away, and most were complete, and most had levelers and tensioners, and the price of the complete winch was less than what I could get a leveler and tensioner for, and I've been looking...
