Ditto on removing the cap and warming up. Does it have coolant in the oil? Sometimes diesels don't show up on the block testers, the end combustion result is different than a gasser.

Usually, if the crank breaks behind the #1 main it is a vibration damper issue....if the break is in front of the last main journal, be it a 4, 6, V6, V8, etc, it usually indicates a problem at the rear of the engine, like a flywheel/clutch issue.

Did you put the rear cab support plate on? If so, got any pics and where did you get it?
