I checked the vacuum lines yesterday and the big one attached to the cdr was a little loose. I tightened that clickey hose clamp and will test drive this weekend. Fingers crossed.
If your gen lights don't turn on when starting your truck then your alternators won't work, they require the light bulb to get excited. Fix the light bulbs and clean their connections first.
HI,
I have two oil leaks I need a little help with.
Number 1 is coming from behind the harmonic balancer, I guessing there is a seal where the shaft comes out? What would the replacement be called?
Number 2 is coming from behind the engine, it looks like its coming from where the trans meets...
I had same symptoms last week. One of my "new" batteries was dead. Take them out and have them tested on the fancy charger/tester machine at the parts store.
My card from antenna climber tested out fine. I replace my temp sensor and everything is working great again. I'm still confused how the tm diagnosis procedures didn't point to this. Antenna climber suggested i get a new one and booya. Antenna climber > TM??? ;)
Basically, since your turning over successfully and your glow plugs are working, you need to verify that you're getting fuel to the injectors. I'd start at the filter because it's easy, then based on weather or not there is fuel pressure present, work your way backwards or forwards from there.
I was able to speak to antenna climber on the phone. I'm going to send him the card. This is solved for now, I will update when he tests the card.
Edited to add. Antenna climbers cards are the best and his service is second to none. Don't take this thread to mean his cards are problematic...
Ok so I did more testing and I'm at a loss.
Heres the situation:
When I turn the key, I get no "wait" light and the glow plug relay does not engage.
What I've tested:
Removed the module, turn key to run, ground blue lead. "Wait" light turns on.
Turn key to run. Disconnect glow plug switch...
4" really is the perfect size (that's what she said). My ORD lift is 4" and my experience has been a little different. I removed my sway bar and my m1009 handles awesome on the road without it. I'm also running 33x12.5 tires but mine rub just a tad when I'm getting flexey.
