I have a friend with a sweet 1963 gasser M35. I believe the last gas powered trucks were made in 1963 or early 1964. They were superceded by the M35A1 with the LDT-427 engines.
Stay away from GL-5 in the tranny. I like the good old fashioned GL-1 straight 90 wt. You can usually find it at auto parts stores that sell a lot of tractor fluids etc. It's pretty cheap for a 5-gallon bucket. There are lots of discussions about this and I'm sure somebody will flame me for...

I once rode my dirt bike in figure eights in my back yard when my parents weren't home. The grass was nice and thick, so the bike didn't really leave any ruts. I got away with it until my dad cut the grass real short and the ruts magically became visible again. :(
