When you did the tune up, did you set the dwell? And if so, did you tighten the distributor adjusting fastener back tight, so that it did not drift? Check you timing once again
Roger, Did you ever see this engine run? Is it the original 6 cylinder ? If it did run since you own it, did you do any work on it, and what work did you do?
WEll today I finished removing the bumper from spare engine #4. And i used that special mixture of 50% transmission fluid mixed with 50% acetone, which made wreching these bolts alot easier. No air or impact tools in this shop!
Today continuing trying to start up up on my M35A2, truck # 3. I opened the fuel Injection pump 2 bolt access door and sure enough the pivital piece, that is actuated by the engine turn off cable, that is supposed to be vertical was stuck . So I gently loosened it and lubed it , and placed it...
Thank you mdemar03, And i suspect this fellow has been sitting in the scrap yard for a long time, as the cab is rusted through..alsso the inlet components to the turbo are absent, sso all that moisture has access to the engine. I shall pass thos one up...WHATADEUCE

Today I re installed the cannister of the M35A2, truck 3, primary fuel filter...And this time it ain't leaking! Ilearned not to use the [pipe wrench removal method, which apparently twists the cannisster, and misalignes the sealing surfaces...
For truck #, (M35A2), i changed the fuel filter, but primary filter leaks..shall tighten it at the nut, rather than by pipe wrench on the filter body...
