Seller did a pretty decent paint job on it. Oil pressure is fine. I would ask the seller what maintenance he did prior to changing oil etc that might have already been done.
A lot of us just bypass the PPD, it is only there to protect all the electronics from someone doing a reverse polarity slave start. I hear you on the wifey, mine has come close a few times.

That fixture looks kinda silly, why does it have 3 lifting eyes? Funny how the jarheads repurposed a shelter lifting sling (4 leg) to use with this funny fixture.
This is the phenomenon that ronmar discussed in his second paragraph in post 19. Somewhere upstream of where you are measuring the 24 volts is a bad connection. Find and fix it and you’re done.

You HAD a M66 ring mount, Uncle pulled it, the mount kit is still there, you will need another one to mount your ma deuce or you will need a roof plug. Check with Beltfed for either.
