I don't think you want to run straight oil in your engine. Try mixing it with regular gasoline and cut it about 2 or 3 gas to oil ratio.

Yes, I see the error in my logic, now. Basically, you need a new case as well as new gears.

Get some diesel fuel conditioner for cold weather to prevent gelling. Also, it is a good idea to drain the tank to remove residual water and prevent freeze ups. I would also put a bit (maybe a cup) of wood alcohol in the air system and cycle the brakes a couple of times to help prevent air...

I wonder how many ground up environmental whackos you need to fill a tank and what the ratio of gasoline to whacko should be? The big fat chicks with the hairy armpits would have quite a bit of blubber, too.......... hmmmmmm :twisted:

Great. Now solve the great dilemma of how to get a higher gear ratio transfer case into a deuce.

The engine runs cooler because E85 only contains about 70% of the energy that RUG does. That means you will only get about 70% of the mileage. 20 mpg becomes 14 mpg with E85. A lot of Chrysler vehicles came ready to use E85 and they called them Flex Fuel engines. Of course, those mileage...

It would be easier to have someone fabricate new gears for the transfer case.
