Do the brights work? You could run those until you pick up another bulb. That's what I had to do last time my low beam burned out.

I ordered this shock (04-237) and received it today. The one I got in the mail is two inches longer than the original. I don't know if the specs for 04-237 have changed since 2008 or if it will ok as is. As soon as my spring arrives I'll give it a try and report back.

Which method? Lifting the sides or lifting the bows? You're gonna have to do one or another.

Made nine more of the extentions and installed them. Only mods to make it work were replacing the bolts holding the top board to the sides and drilling a hole through the bows to attach it to the extention. I think wood will be fine in the application since it's only holding up the top and...

Probably, but with all the stuff crawling around in the dez I like being off the ground. I also like the near zero set up time and the fact it can hold a lot of beer coolers and spare parts. It also has a higher cool factor than a tent at Dirtbag. :driver:

Ok, thanks to Brentzilla I took it all back apart. Keeping the sides in the factory spot makes them the strongest, so I decided to raise the bows. Here is what I came up with in a couple minutes: (forgot to rotate pic - sorry)
