Anyone ship their MV by rail recently?

I had BNSF loose a rail care with 2 M1A2 Tanks on it, going from Ft Hood Tx to Ft Irwin, Ca. For 3 days they had no idea where the rail car was.

Weird odd stencil marking on bed

Just because the truck was last used at Selfridge, does not mean it was there all of it's life.... Do more research on the Hahn AFB in Germany, see what you can find. And as an added side note, hahn in German means rooster.

Front axle brake shoes wear out faster than rear axle brake shoes?

Don't assume Uncle Sam does a "complete axle brake job" when something goes wrong.

I'd love to help, but a semi trailer is way bigger than I can handle.

    eBay jerry cans.

Then Scepters fit just as well as the metal cans in the mounts. If you have bulged can, that's a different story.

    correct GPS for HMMWV ?

As stated above, the majority of them were PSN-11's (PLGRs) or PSN-13 or 13A (DAGRs) There is no physical difference between the PSN-13 and the 13A. For some reason DAGRs seem to be all over ebay and Murphys has them. My HMMWV is the Army has the PLGR and external antenna mounted up to the...

    correct GPS for HMMWV ?

They plugged into the radios for the BFT systems. Murphy's surplus has DAGRs for 400$ or so.
