    Brake controllers Try this

You would install it on the airline from the airpack that feeds the gladhand to get proportional brake control. Looks like you still would need 12v. Dennis

    Searching for thread

I had a short reply in another post about a brake controller. Other's have posted about their controllers. Mine's 12v, gets power from the first battery. Only difference was wiring the brake signal to the controller. Used a 24volt relay, and hooked it to the brake light switch. When the...

Coverting an OA331 starter from 24v to 12v

I know mine is pretty slow on 24volt. Don't think 12v would start it. If you don't modify it, I'm sure there are 12v starters for that motor, it was used in civilian applications.

    M35 Mine Protected Vehicle

They replaced the cab, and looks raised, that may make enough room for a longer engine. Really cool looking truck.

Crushing a Car with a Deuce.

Hear the rod knocking? Not the smartest thing to do, good way to get metal in the tires.

    transmissions

I don't know the numbers, but the gasser tranny has a lower first gear. PTO will bolt up fine. For off road it would be nice, the gears are spaced better without the overdrive. Same transmission, different gearsets, will interchange. Dennis

    Deuce Trans/Clutch trouble

I've bumped my truck out of gear at the transfer case before... Took me a little bit to figure out what happened. Other thing to check is driveshaft between the transmission and transfer case, they are known to lose bolts.

    Help me out here...

with 11-20 tires, looking at 60 mph, about 2550 rpm. Redline is 2600 rpm. Motor, even turned up, isn't that strong for higher speeds. Any kind of a load and your back doing 50-55.

    Why Doesn't My M35A2 Horn Work ?

I think you have to twist the horn button to remove it on some trucks. On another note, the horn on my M108 only works with the engine running. Something about the vibrations, dosen't work with just the switch on(should be hot all the time anyways.)

    Gasser Deuce Questions

I can tell you the timing makes a big difference in how the gasser M108 runs. No idea where it's set, but runs alot better advanced, up to the point the engine wants to backfire instead of start. Haven't noticed any ping. On my one trip on the road, it would only do 40 mph, then advanced the...

    Gasser Deuce Questions

A 5 gallon can lasts about 3-4 days of mild use on the M108.... in the yard. So I'm getting .01 mpg right now.
