Questions about the belts on my deuce

The alternator belt # i found on the old cross reference list here was 25-9465..... i acutally just ordered a set. I'm not sure what p/n's are correct, I haven't recieved them yet to put them on! As far as the wrench.. I made one a while back with a cad drawing that was posted on here somewhere...

    Wiper arms

I bought a wiper upgrade kit through saturn surplus... changing wiper blades is a snap, cost effective to say the least! Easy to install the arms themselves... comes with several knurled studs to attach to the existing wiper motor shafts. 2cents

Anybody have any specs to make spin filter adapters?

This site in general is rediculous.... if it's not about making home-made non-purchased adaptor plates then get off the **** thread. Leave politics at the door and lets talk how to make them. Sounds like a bunch of busy bodies with nothing else to gripe about on here attacking people.... the 9th...

Anybody have any specs to make spin filter adapters?

Oddshot... I too was thinking of going to a big truck junk yard and getting a filter setup off of a mack/cummins/detroit etc and putting it on as a remote filter. I drive a mack mixer at my second job; their spin on filters are $5 a piece when you buy a case of them...

Anybody have any specs to make spin filter adapters?

$225 plus shipping for filters and plates... I would like to try to make my own also. I have read on here about issues with the alum adapter plates (expand/contract/oil leaks/etc).. would it be bettter to make them out of steel? I am also interested in making a set, I have the means and...

So what do you do with your deuce for fun?

I love my deuce... it's loud, obnoxious, fun to drive, a head turner, a parade rig, a party rig, a show vehicle (even though its rough looking), a definate story machine. I can say that everytime I drive it people ask tons of questions... or have stories to reminice about the days they drove a...

Pennsylvania M35A2 owners.....A couple questions for you.

When I first bought my deuce a couple years ago, I had it registered as a class 7 truck. $350 a year for registration, $400 for insurance through Erie (commercial policy due to weight class) and twice a year for inspection. Since then, I've cleaned it up and registered as an antique (one time...

    Air horn solenoid question

Thanks 6x6guy; I should have explained it a little differently... as I thread the solenoid into the horn, the solenoid tightens up and is about a half a turn away from where it needs to be to attach the 90 degree elbow and air supply line. If I turn the solenoid more, it will probably...

    Air horn solenoid question

I purchased a new air horn solenoid from Eriks... went to install and when I try to tighten up the solenoid I can't get the air supply to line up. I tried threading the solenoid from different positions, still can't get it to be tight AND lined up with my air line. I also can't get the 90 degree...

    Kingpin bushing bolt issue

I had to replace a CV boot because it was slinging grease everywhere. Had it tore apart, cleaned it up and installed my new zipper boot. As I was finishing the install, I finger tightened the bolts into the kingpin bushings (passenger side boot guards). I put the 7/8" socket on the bolts, and...
