Hobie237, I really didn't want to cut the fenders. The height of the 32's wasn't the issue it was the width. 1" of lift probably would have done it, I went 4"just because I figured if I was going to lift the truck 1" why not 4". Actually gave the truck a good look, and I did not have to play...

Did anyone preview the dueces that sold yesterday at Warner Robbins in GA. Some went for over 3k. I did not see anything special about them. Thy were listed as late 80's model. Were they actually manufactured in the 80's or were they overhauled?

I believe you would have to go to a 6" suspension lift for that tire to work. Fender cutting alone will probably not work. I have got 32-12.50's on mine and had to put a 4" lift on it. Tire are plenty big enough. I think power may be a problem with a bigger tire. Just my opinion.

If it is a clogged return check valve on the ip. Cleaning it will only be a temp fix. It will get worse. Get it rebuilt or get a replacement.

It's a risk, no matter what auction. If you don't want the risk go to a dealer. Its the risk that creates the some of the excitement in the whole process. A piece of crap for $100 or a piece of gold for $1.

Isn't the 1008 shaft quite a bit more heavy duty than its civi counterpart.

Mine seemed to drive better post lift as well. Might of been in my head though.
