I know this is a hot potatoe, but I would not push her much past 2300, as she is a 40 yo truck... I run 2350 at 52mph all day long and she seems to like it. She also does NOT like hills, overpasses, or bridges.

Well, I got the assembly off by grinding the back of the stud off. Took about 5 minutes with the 8" grinder. Pulled the trigger and let the weight of the grinder do the work. Only reason this worked was that I had about 3/8" of slack to play with.

I went and bought a 1" impact and set up a stand alone air receiver that I can run either off the rear gladhand or shop air. I keep it in the back of the deuce with all stuff I need. Never thought I would need a geared wrench, but...

I got spare lugs and nuts, just gotta get this one off. Ran out of gas so I gotta lug the tire into the back of my PU to take it to the shop.....can anyone spell hernia???

Pulled off the front tandems, all went well until I pulled off the last inner wheel. Seems the outter lug nut is jammed tight on the Budd stud...
Any ideas, other than a gas axe? I have about a 1/4" of play. PB Blaster used, pipe wrenches too...
Yeah, see what CARNAC can find out. He can usually do wonders!
The VIN in the lower dash (A Piller) on the drivers side is the place the state guys will use for a visual inspection.

:ditto::ditto: Just went out and confirmed that this is the size I am using as well. I went with clear water hose though, so I can see what is going on.
