Dangerous Situation Today With My M1009

This would be a super simple way to replace everything and is a direct simple bolt on process. After you have your truck back on the road with this exact replacement axle you could then figure out what is going on with that mess you have of a spindle. Get the complete axle. Its very cheap and...

I did not even get as far as your post when I stated my opinion. This isnt the first time Ive done this in regards to Porky. I hope though it will be the last. As far as the IP I think its a pretty good post and the price is better than I have found before. This post helped me. Thanks!

    Rebuilt injector pumps - maybe

Why dont you just give it a rest. You are really starting to get on peoples nerves! Why are you always posting about other members threads? If they are in violation why not just let a Moderator determine whats right or wrong? Half the time you end up being absolutely wrong. If you want to...

    Glow plug life span?

My truck had wellmans and 7 out of 8 I believe were dead. They were not swollen so removing them a snap. I believe people run into problems when they keep the old Glow Plugs in not knowing how to change them or even the signs of when to change them. A quick meter reading will show you when...

    1028 highway ?

With stock size tires your engine is turning 3512 rpms at 70 mph. That is basically running the engine right at red line. Diesel dont do well running at or near red line. This engines sweet spot is between 2000 to 2200 rpm. This is where you will see you best economy and longevity.

    1028 highway ?

    1028 highway ?

When im on the highway for the 5 mile run to town I go 40 to 45 unless I see someone coming up behind me. I then kick her up to 55 max and get as far over as possible to let them know they can and should pass. Most people up here are pretty much slow going....... anyway so its no big deal for...

Dangerous Situation Today With My M1009

I believe that nut is pretty ground up! If so then you will need to somehow get it off. start with some chisles ect. and a ball peen hammer. Wear some eye protection for sure! That spindle must be toast. Take your time since this is going to take awhile. Dont get mad or frustrated. Just...

    1008 cargo cover

You need to have a "Locked up torque convertor" at highway speeds. If you dont then yes you will not get the desired effect you installed the OD for. This can be done. When you get it wired up add a turn off switch to your brake light switch. When you put on your brakes at highway speeds it...

    M1009 Steering pop

Sounds Like your frame is cracked where the steering box is mounted. This is a common problem especially on units that were used alot off road. If you install bigger tires ect then this problem "WILL" happen. Heres the fix. Use both the bolt on brace and weld on reinforcement brace. You should...
