2 1/2 ton ESP program is the "Extended Service Program", expected life on these trucks was supposed to be 12 years in a non-comat role. Obviously they've served much longer. Now they are (were?) taking and refurbing some of the older trucks into the A3 models. I believe the stock wheels are...
I'm sure Alex will give you a "crash course" before he lets you take off in it. He did with several other people I know who have bought trucks from him. Good luck and have a safe trip.
More power, smoother running engine. The only disadvantage you can only run #2 diesel which that's what most of us run anyway. I like all the fools who think they can run straight gasoline in a multifuel...they usually learn the hard way.
The aluminum ones I've noticed are also drilled for adding the extra marker lights. I'll try to take a pic of them if this weather will leave me alone. Can't go out in the rain I might melt LOL
I've got experience with them on the HMMWV and HEMTT but not on the deuce. Those would be sweet with some super singles.
It's not really a hard job ifyou don't have a heater installed, if you have a heater it does make the job much more difficult. The main thing, it's time consuming. There is a timing mark to keep your pump in line and timed correctly. I'll look and see which TM it was in, but it gives a great...
I've seen a mixture of them all, I had a AM General with the squared off steel gaurds, but most often you see the newer rounded aluminum ones, and once in a while the rounded steel gaurds. Probably depends on what was laying around the can point.
Cool, these are pretty rare trucks to come by for collectors, usually the construction companies would snatch them up and work them into the ground. That's interesting on the detroit locker, never heard that before. That would be cool.

Hmm, maybe somebody added some alcohol to keep the fuel from gelling
We were in the process of restoring a halftrack and after removing one of the fuel tanks found a empty .50 cal casing from 1944.
Now when my deuce fuel pump went out, I...
My daily driver is a 2000 Ford Super Duty 4x4 7.3l Powerstroke that is far from stock. Just pulled off the nitrous bottle as that habit is too spendy and was gonna get me into trouble. Soo much fun trashing these ricers in a 9,000 # truck<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_approve.gif"...
Hi all, our SWAT team is looking for a V100. Not really interested in one on the civilian makret as they are just priced too high when you find them. If you come across any at a DRMO or on any base, please let me know and we'll get the acquisition guy on it. As most of you know, law enforcement...
