More power, smoother running engine. The only disadvantage you can only run #2 diesel which that's what most of us run anyway. I like all the fools who think they can run straight gasoline in a multifuel...they usually learn the hard way.

I've seen a mixture of them all, I had a AM General with the squared off steel gaurds, but most often you see the newer rounded aluminum ones, and once in a while the rounded steel gaurds. Probably depends on what was laying around the can point.

The blue ones are supposed to be for night vision googles. I have seen clear ones but you don't come across them very often.
