Got the box mounted up today...

Covered the bottom 6x6 hole with hardware cloth today. Should be mouse proof and wasp proof.

50A inlet box to 50A breaker connected to interlock switch...Waiting on 50a box to mount on genny.

Completed the pad for the 803A today...

Got a load bank today, craig'slist for $50. Maxed out at 65% load with everything on 'high' setting and broiler. Got another 10% on the convenience outlet, total 75%. Ran it for 2 1/2 hours @ 75% load. All went well. I'll have to get a supplement heater or something to get to 100%. So far so good.

What is the 3/4" washer for ??

No room for mistakes with genset under load... Curious about the 3 piece ground rod - how much is normally used in the field??

The wrench is the correct size. It is not functional at full length with the lanyard attached. It's all good now.

Thank you ... I may need to do that - Maybe a dumb question but what does the button on the freq. cable do? When my unit is running I can adjust the Hz but twisting the knob. I have it set on 61Hz. When under load does the governor automatically rev up the engine ?

One place quoted $450....wtf $100 would be more than enough for a $50 part. May go with the Dorman after all...
