a 1953 would be painted a OD(Olive drab) semi gloss like 24087 SEMI-GLOSS, 1957 to present Dark O.D. The last color used before camo patterns started or AJP WWII SEMI-GLOSS, Late 1944 thru 1957 A true O.D., AJP had this color matched from some early NOS parts.

no it would work if I remember right you need to take off the cab top and one other thing and you got a 360 capability.
