RE: Weekend I think kennys point was to bring the truck up to 'inflated height' before you start jacking... less cranking on the jack to get it high enough to get the full tire on.

I should also note.... the 6.2 and 6.5 'crate' motors (and maybe some others) had a DD sticker on them....

SBC 305 = 5.0 liter SBC 350 = 5.7 liter then... 6.2 liter and 6.5 liter and the BBC 454 was 7.4 liter That help?

Absolutley not. the 350 Olds Diesel wasnt even that close to a gas engine.

yup, its a single bolt that crosses the shifter. Right down near the floor.

I found with mine, the bolt holding it on was not tight. I think a pair of 3/4" wrenchs fixes you right up (could be wrong on size)
