Because there is risk of air being introduced into the system. It only takes 15 minutes to bleed the system. If you build a pressure bleeder it only takes one person.

There is a drive through feeding zoo "wild safari" down there. I would love to drive the deuce through.
Update: went over around 7:00PM and she had it fixed. We spend another thirty minutes bleeding the system. Brake peddle feels solid.
I took some photo's to explain what caused the failure.
1. The spring holding the front drivers side brake hose broke.
2. The hose then flex against the axle...
:ditto:No way i see a powerstroke going into a deuce. Could the transmission even hold up? Air compressor? 12 volt electric..if its a 96 or newer the throttle is controled electronically.
Best option i have seen is a cummins. I think the costs would out way the benifits.

A military vechile swap meet on a large scale in Goergia is long over due. So many locations and a draw from surrounding states could put us on the map. This kind of event would take a focused individual, with money, experience, and pull to achieve. Who I don't know. Hopefully soon.

Well well well....I come home today and slam on the brakes because I see a deuce down the street from me.:-D lol. Guess who has a power bleeder and spare brake line....what are the chances.....
I thought was if i zip tie them back they could rub against the metal causing failure. Of course they were fine probally for the last ten years that way. Ok i am going to zip tie.
Any thoughts on the pedal 2.5" from the floor full stop correct?
