I heard the same only bell housing gets pressurized with fordging kit. I would vent all to the cab.

This is where disagree with others. I like rebuilding parts because I know it's done right. I only wish I had the time to rebuild my transmission.

A 40 year old 6x6 13,400 lb truck is not a great daily driver. MPG is around 10 and regular maintenance is required. Mine is purely for hobby.
The idea of a "how to buy a deuce" would be nice. I just don't think it would make sense unless you have previously owned a deuce. Guys for now I would starting reading through old posts. I was given some helpful hints while previewing trucks at the gl lot.
