You wont see much rust, as they are aluminum. Download the TM, do the PMCS on it, that will cover everything to make sure it is roadworthy. Bearings are the biggest deadline item to any small trailer.
shocks are the same as a M998. Bearings are Timkens, availible at any auto parts store. The wheels cylinders, Beltfed34 on ebay had them new and cheap.
