Can't - left the state 24 years ago. I just send my taxes there and keep my Chevelle titled there. Still visit every year. Wouldn't mind picking up a few trucks and hiding them at Rat's till the heat is off out here.
Rat4spd had the same problem years ago with his El Camino aka Screamo. Took it all the way to the city council, mayor, etc. I think in the end he rented a storage unit.
Where I'm at if you DON'T have a couple campers, trailers, tractors deuces, etc (and several dogs) they will probably...
Thanks to Dog Head and all the chatroom guys who gave me advice (some of it good even) and to all the advice in this thread. She pulled off straight and true, no sliding around.
More pics:
The box is removed. It went pretty well overall. It was a tight spot with no anchor point. I used a chain link fence post and the pintle hook attachment on my 2500HD GMC which was sitting sideways. We used cargo straps doubled up vice chain. The bad thing about the straps is they rubber band a...
Yes you were 1st in line. It's getting to be a long line in my PM box. Seems everyone needs windows or covers. Wish someone local wanted the whole box.
I have a bed lined up with someone who will load it on my truck. I don't have alot of SOCAL interest for a rusty top 109 box. I can seal the top with roofing tar and use it as a shed, but I have to get it off without forklifts, twin post lifts etc. The plan is to try to use a combo of pulling...
I'll get plenty of pics and video of course, but............
The spot it needs to go is pretty tight and there is no anchor point. I will squeeze my lil truck (2500HD crew cab with the 8 foot bed) back there and tie off to the hitch. I want to TRY and tie my quad off to it and see if the...
No old tires around, but I was thinking about some hay or straw bales. ???
The spot it's planned for is pretty level - not perfect. After it's down I'll use the high lift to get a couple railroad ties under it and level it. Every three or four years it floods and water flows back that way...
You got a Florida title?
Still haven't decided if I'll register it in IA or CA. Leaning towards IA since you seem to be good at it.
I ended up doing the SF-97 thing. My money manager said if I went with a title company the M35 bed would have to "wait". Mumbled something about a "budget"...
Depends on how easily it can be covered with sheetmetal or plywood. It's going to be a shed and painted the same color as the garage.
Or the garage will be painted to match the shed....................
