Mike, You can put the composite lights on the trailer that has/had the old round lights. There are just a couple of mods to do. The wiring is the same. The free trailer had the round lights and the GL trailer ahd the composites, I wanted composites, so, I just swapped them...took a bit of...

Got a mess of TMs in PDF..I HATE pdf! Rather have paper in front of me.
I think it sat for 5 - 6 years, maybe a bit more. It is original and it is a Marine Corps truck. I got a chance to look this thing over, it is full of things that are different. If you think a deuce with a springer seat has no room, try getting in this. There is the normal turn signal lever on...
Sarge, It is a 6B, it was in a forklift..I think. It has a Bosch VE pump, so it would work for an automotive engine...like in a truck. A friend of mine gets scrap contracts form the gov. This engine has basically no hours on it. It was on an island out in the pacific by Guam I think. All of the...
Went to the MV museum today...finally got some free time! Craig decided to resurect the M123 first. Had to drag it out of the hole it was in. It had settled down into the dirt about 4 inches all the way around. Had to use a 4wd fork lift to get it out. They do NOT like to steer w/o the engine...
Re: Question on a "sprag" trabsfer case
It is a very simple job. You still have the bed off ? Just put an airshift and be done with it. 4 to 6 hours of labor and the t-case isn't that much...$350 tops. Trust me, you'll be much happier with your truck.
Looks nice! How's your butt after driving it for 7 hours :) ? I agree with emmado, do simple things first and always verify the gauge is correct before you go throwing lotsa dollars at things.
OUCH! Well, take lots of pics. It's nice to see the inside of one of these beasts. If you put bearings in it, save the old ones. Maybe Bjorn can use them. He's got a knock goin' on in one of his trucks.
FedEx gas! And the occasional 5 to 10 gallons of pump diesel, just to freshen it up. Still go t a tad ofver 200 gallons left of the FedEx stuff. C'mon FedEX, I can always use more free fuel!!
Well, look at that! Seen that on a Cummins B. But they are a parent bore block...no liners. Ended up putting a sleeve in it. That's the one behind the WP? Where are you getting a cylinder kit or liner/rings, and how much are they gonna set you back. Great pics!
Just an FYI, GM products...Blazers and P/U have a nasty habit of breaking the frame at the steering box. There are alot of companies that offer a kit to repair/help prevent this from happening. It is more prevalent in lifted or heavily off roaded trucks.

Floyd, I know a guy who has a deuce in Hesperia who wants to sell it. It runs and looks good. He has two trucks and not enough proprety to store them. Call me. I'll call him and see about getting you guys hooked up.
Big Mike and I kicked it around. Don't think it'll work for me though, it is a weekend that my wife is working and we will just be back from a family vacation, so I can't leave the kids home alone and need to conserve $ for a bit.
