For me at least I only have a CUCV but I want lots of MV's and I enjoy reading about ALL of them, I would not want to miss all the great threads in other sections so (no offense) but this idea is horrible.

There is nothing wrong with that, you can deploy later as a leader! Just remember one thing its your soldiers and NCO's that will make or break you as a succesful leader, take care of them and they will take care of you too.

It should, we used Shoe goo to re-enforce seams and stitching on our Gilly Suits (for sniper ops crawling and sliding on the ground) and the stuff works great!
I have also used it on some ice hockey skates cause I used to do spinning knee slides and the skates were wearing out on one area.
