Saw this while on vacation in Colorado. Looks like it's in a town/county lot, 4th street in Victor, CO.
Body wise it's in decent shape. Interior is rough. Didn't look under the hood. Only thing I saw missing was the dump body. The subframe, hoist, hydraulics, and PTO are all there. It's a...
Saw these for sale while driving through, I-70, exit 41. Don't know anything about them, but there was a phone number. 816 682 2838.
One truck has some different tires on it, one had a different turn signal lever, and there was a M332 trailer.

to elaborate, Gimpy's talking about the axle shafts, that go to each wheel. Front is just hubs, rear is shafts. Might want to make up a cover on the rears to prevent gear oil from leaking. Only thing turning is the wheel bearings. Then you don't have to worry about the extra drag of the...
I use HHO tanks, mounted about 10 feet up, on a industrial pallet rack. Pump the oil in (in my case filtered) and then when I need it, open the valve on the bottom.
Don't know how many times the oil went through. Filtered oil is dumped in the top of a 55 drum, and siphoned out the bottom to be filtered again. Pump runs at .9 gpm, so one cycle thru should take just over a hour. Usually let it run overnight, about 8 hours.
Thanks for some tech info...
Just picked this up today. Kinda of a basket case, some small stuff missing. frame and body is in good shape. Motor is unkown condition, along with rest of drivetrain. Was looking at a M38 and got this instead. 600.00! Now if only i can make it run. Have the hood, fenders, and grille.

Okay fella's.... I'm the wrong guy for a mighty mite, but I'll squeeze in!
Ended up going after it tonight, so a new thread will be posted with pics.

The oil I get comes from a variety of sources, and is all mixed together for filtering. The water content/antifreeze content is not surprising, I've had to drain both from the bottom of some the oil. Fuel in the oil is a good thing for me!
I had noticed the oil seemed thinner after...
Overall a good time. Kinda of bummed about losing another jeep engine. Here's a couple of pics, have some video also. The road train performed better than expected, and the deuce ran great all the way home.
Good group of guys, having a good time!

Sounds like the pump dead-headed. Is there a pressure relief on the valve body or pump? On some systems if you partly engage the valve to raise or lower, if will block the pump. On a normal system, it's not a problem, the relief valve opens. If it doesn't open, instant locking of pump...
Ramps will be there. Glad to here your making it Stan!
No wireless. I was connecting thru the phone on verizon. Won't be bringing the laptop this year. Cell phone did work. May want to bring FRS radios (walkie talkies) for staying in touch.

What's bad about packing a torch? It has the caps on it, and is secured in the deuce bed. Umm, there's no OSHA when your not on working for someone.
There is NO power. I will have a generator running, it's one of the new super quiet models. Like night and day compared to my old one...
See, I'm freaking safety dude compared to everyone else! Gotta love this hobby, were all a little nuts.
O, the deuce was modified for this adventure. 12v prodigy brake controller for camper brakes, and reese hitch installed(done a while ago).
Pretty neat on the controller, added a 24v relay...
