Use a puller! To get it off should slide right on maybe with a tap or 2. Something is not right.

U need 2 people i had my wife stand on the bumper and watch the 1 valve close while i turned the motor over by hand under the truck! Its all in the tm! Took about a hour to do the job and 3 hrs of the wife complaining she got grease on her shirt!!

Thats why i do a final rinse in brake cleaner and blow dry with compressed air! Ends up clean and dry! Ready for the application of new grease!!

I clean them in the parts washer then a final of brake clean, Pack them by HAND!! Thats the ryan77 approved way!!
