Ok, replaced the brake lines in the rear. Why are they zip tied to the dog bones in the rear. Is this a requirement?
Side note pedal stops 2.5" from floor correct?
Ok.. Made it to the house at 8pm. No problems other than the steady drip of gear oil out of my air switch for the front axle.

They put all the jeeps up front and most of the deuces in the back. There is a divide between the jeep crowd and the deuces etc. I had a conversation with Clinto about this as well. Seems like the older jeep folks don't understand this group.

I would clean the battery connections, starter connections (pull the battery leads off first),and clean the grounds. Charge batteries then go from there.
I had similiar problem because one of my battery terminals was loose.
TM Chapter 8 covers the brakes if you need to replace the airpack it could help.

I will always like the push to start. Just feels right. The only people that would notice a keyed switch would be another deuce owner. I say make your truck the way you want it.
Got my part to fix my deuce brakes this after noon. Hope to roll in on Saturday morning.
Clinto, Carnac is watching over your truck and trailer. I don't know any one is going sleep 100ft from the train track it's loud.

How do you flush the gear oil in the winch? Drain, overfill, drain, and then fill to proper level? I saw the tm about adjusting the winch. How do you clean the brake? Remove the cover spray with brake cleaner maybe?
