I will not bid any further on my auctions either. So, I lose but, GL will not gain from me this week!

Keep it. You should be able to run the 33/12.50's on an 8"wide rim with no lift kit.

I've run 33/12.50-15's on 8" wheels for over 30 years on several GM half tons and never busted anything axle related. My one 1/2 has carried an 8.5' Western Pro plow since 1984 and it is a heavy sucker. All these have had 3.73 gears in them unlike the 1009 and it's 3.08.

My K30's had a 10K gvw with a trailer tag of 15K gcw. They all had 5 leaf helper sets except the 1977 which had 6 leafs.

Great looking vehicles. Seen many I would like to own.

Never had the military "dually" but, plenty of the civilian models. Worked great hauling camper and towing trailers. The K30 4x4 versions did not come with a rear sway bar, never missed it.
