Your just asking for trouble or to die if your not running a CO meter AND a heater. Sounds stupid, and I know the military doesnt do it, but is the cost savings of $20 to buy a meter really worth killing everyone over?
Make sure it comes with the special shouldered bolts that attach the winch itself to the frame extensions on both sides. They are big $$$ if you need to buy them seperately. I think there are 6 or 8 of them total.
All the bolts that bolt the extensions to the frame are nice too, but easily...
all military fuel gauges used in ground vehicles SUCK and should not be trusted. For some reason, the fuel gauges used in aviation seem to be much more accurate.....
With the defense budget reductions, the HMMWV will be with us for many more years. All these designs were made up durring the war, when $$ was flowing like water.. Not so anymore.
Do you know what a full kit costs? I am sure no one here will want to pay for it. You will be paying close to the NSN cost, as Im sure no group buy could get close to the sheer numbers that Uncle Sam has bought in the past.
