If you wanted to make a screen to keep water out I believe that 100 mesh? is the size. Used to use the screen to seperate water from jerry cans when filling an old surplus jeep.
Many thanks for the kickbacks. I was looking for a wood deck as it ususally lasts longer. I had a friend that got a trailer from a state surplus sale and it lasted only 3 years before rusting through and had to R/R it with wood. I did not know if all of the trailers were all metal.
As far as...
Sorry for asking the question as it was not meant to refer to any trailer at auction.
I meant to ask, are there any MV tailers with wood decks and not steel? All the ones I have looked at are all steel.
Thanks!
Does anyone know if the trailers offered for bid have wood or steel decks? I want one but really want wood as I live by the coast.
Many Thanks in advance!!

I have not heard of chemical sponges but that does not mean anything, if they have Sorbent pads, they probably make some type of product that will absorb water/moisture and then be removed.
The next I can think of would be to use a fuel treatment that absorbs the water and runs it through...

To get the moisture or water out is another matter.
We usually contact a vandor who brings down a semi-portable set of 5 micron filters with self powered 2" transfer pump. We let them filter our fuel 1000's of gallons for the time it takes for the Kolor Kut not to show moisture. This is...

I agree that prevention is the best but I think that the milk is already spilt....
There is a product that we use offshore to test for water in our tanks and also to test for water before or during fuel transfers: The product is called
Kolor Kut water finding paste. It is manufactured by...

A regear for the 1009 would probably do you good if you used it only for the uses you stated. If you want to go the re-build/gear route, make sure you check out all of the running gear (internals) if you decide to go this route.
The truck I changed gears from 3.42 to 3.73 on...
Nice Bryan, very nice!! :-P I Have not seen stenciling like that in ages, used to use cut stencils but they got too expensive and the companies make us cut them out of cardboard or craft paper...
did the calipers come off come off the rotor easy? Yes, keep going. No, new brakes (change the hoses while your at it, 20+ years old...).
when you spin the rotor get real close to the animal and listen, a little noise is ok but any grinding or weird noises are bad. also, slowly spin the rotor...
THe case cracked and the tranny fluid ran out, did not know it until it started slipping, tried getting it back home, needless to say it did not make it.
I might be able to post a pic, if I can find my old ones from a parted out truck. You might want to go out to the junk yards and start...
Left it off when I went for a short ride after changing the flywheel to make sure everything ran right before putting the cover and braces back on, street driving. The cost was 1200, for a new 4x4 case and rebuild.
