When I first bid on my M1008 I stopped bidding at 1900.00 then 2 months later it was back up for auction, I ended up saving about 800.00 second time around.

no, but when the weather breaks up here I want to replace the glow plugs and if they are swollen I will probably get one, I understand how they work and seems safer than blowing them out with engine compression.
the taller sides definately look better, even a little taller would put them in line with the bottom of the side window and the hood, would look real clean.

I had my 1008 picked up with a roll back and it was only 5 miles away,good thing, the flex plate is about to fall out, the transmission cooling lines were disconnected. The GL description also said running condition unknown. If I had to travel any great distance to get it I would had been out...
I've pulled steel bolts out of aluminum blocks by soaking with penetrating oil then mig welding on a nut then and backing it out. If I have to drill I make sure to drill completly thru the broken bolt that way I can get the lube to the other end of the bolt.

After checking all systems I used wd40 to fire it off. Mine also sat for a long time. and it was in the 30 degree or less temp. I also had a kerosene torpedo heater under the front end too help warm things up.
