Is that an A1 or A2? The motor is an NHC250, which would mean it is an A1, but the rims have CTIS on them. If you installed CTIS, you will need the counter-weights on the front rims. Nice.

IMO, the PLS is a cooler toy/tool than the crane. You can get a fuel body for it, a cargo pallet, a dump body...all of which I've seen for sale. That would be one bad mo-fo.

Tan should be a bit cooler, but, as BARRMAN says, the difference will be minimal. I recommend tan just because there are fewer tan trucks out there.

Are you referring to a HEMTT fueler? All it takes is luck in finding one and wads of cash. Ted Hils in AL has an M978...not an A2, though. Prepare to spend over $60K.

Grab it...and I vote to keep it as a gasser. Gassers are getting more and more rare. If you do convert it to a multifuel, you will still be fine as the military did this all the time. Still, I'd rather have it as a gasser. I agree with those posters above...$2K is a great deal if it is...

The driver's side running board is definitely off of an M939 series truck. The axles appear to be from an M939A2 series truck. The fenders are from an M809 series truck. There are air valves behind the access panel on that box that is on the driver's side running board. Perhaps, they came as...

I am not sure. The more I look, the more I see M809 series features, too...like the air tanks under the driver's side cab. However, on an M809, there should be a toolbox in front of the air tanks (where that box with the access panel is located).

Those are definitely M809 series fenders. The diffs and the box on the driver's side running board are throwing me off. Could they have taken an M923A2 and mounted some sheet metal off of an M809? Not sure why the would do that. I am stumped.

That looks like it could be an M923A2. The box on the driver's side running board is definitely an A2 part and the diffs are flat on the bottom...another tell-tale sign of an A2. I will say that the fender in the first pic does look like an M809 series fender. With all the damage, it is...

Beautiful trailer and nice score. A word on the age (for the SF97). The tank on the trailer might be from 2000, but the chassis is early 80s at the newest. You can tell by the tie-down points on the rear corners and the front A-frame. I am attaching pics of my trailer to see the difference...

My suggestion...get it shipped. If, as with most everyone else who drives a truck out, you are trying to save some coin, at least invest in getting the truck shipped to a location off-base where someone can do a good inspection and either you or that person can do a full servicing on the truck...

Forget price when looking for M108 specific items and just be happy IF you can find what you need.
