Like said above, these are tactical vehicles, do not ever expect to go fast, and as for doing over 50 with those big tires, please do not get me wrong, it is just dangerous . When she lets go i do not care who u are , it will be gone, these trucks are designed to carry loads in off road...

Oil is basically simple, the lower numbers are for newer tighter tollerence motors, the 15 /40's are more for diesels, they are just fine for the climates U will find in conus...or continental United States...so the lighter the oil the faster it will lubricate tighter tolerences, and the heavier...

When u do the fuel filters there are the 2 on the side of the motor and the primary is under the right fender area, U are supposed to be letting that one drain now and again to see if there is any water in there, and U may find the pet cock is cloged/rusted up and needs to come off to make it...

How much does he think its worth restored? it is not that great of a deal, sorry. A mint one goes for 7 to 8 and are in the classifieds in the MV mag all the time . It is going to cost alot more than it is worth to restore, Unless U find someone that really needs alot of the parts that are on it...

I have some brandy new 900's and some good used in northern NJ...and some rims and tubes and flaps to go with sets if needed, new 150ea. tubes 20ea. used 100 for the really good ones. rims 50 ...will throw in the flaps with sets... some are mounted and ready to go too....do not have em all out...
