Been keeping an eye on a couple of parts trucks nearby. They were heading to the junkyard and I grabbed them. Probably paid too much, but there here!
Took a pic of all the trucks. At one time, in a galaxy far, far away, I didn't own any MVs. Always thought the 6x6's were cool, so got...
One of the best things I ever did was make the deuce dump. Figured it would come in handy, just didn't realize how much. And Clinto's right, working on the rear is a breeze. Bleeding brakes, parking brake, repacking bearings, is all so much easier.
How much can your's lift clinto? I've had...
Emblems say mustang power.. I decided not to get the truck. Don't have the time/money to get it right now. Truck isn't going anywhere. If anyone is interested, it's in cleveland, ohio, at a business, for 500.00 Pm for details. If it is still there in the spring I may go after it.

Picked up a really neat ramsey winch/pto combo a while back. Has the twin stick PTO, front winch, and rear gearbox. One of these days it should end up on the CJ-2A.

I can tell you it gets HOT in the summer there. Last year was nice, the temperature wasn't sky high. Was close to aberdeen thou. Other 2 years it was hotter than heck.
I am guessing there is going to be another GA rally, which would be fall again?
I believe Liljohn was from MI

On the winch handle, there is a little detent ball in the handle the rusts stuck. So if the handle was left engaged, and rained on enough, it would stick. I had one stuck in the disengaged postion, soaked it with penetrating oil, and it came loose with a mallet. After working the handle back...
Thanks for the good info! I'll be in touch.
Come on, someone have a better guess on wieght? O well... Don't know for sure I am getting the truck yet. Figure I will.
No way I am driving this beast home. Front tires are SHOT. I wouldn't even try until tires are replace, all fluids changed...
Thanks to JasonS for sending this my way.
1962 white semi tractor with(I was told) reo 400 ci/200hp engine.
Can anyone verify this is the reo 400ci/200 hp engine? Tag on door say 6/200 AC2 for engine code.
Wanting to rebuild this and replace the 331 in the M108 crane truck. 331 is running...
It's not hard to hook the brakes together. Where the air line goes into the back of the airpack, take the line off and install a male air nipple(quick connect for air tools). Then off the left rear of the towing deuce's glad hand hook an air line to the air pack of the towed deuce.
When you...
I'm kinda of surprised at the lack of yelling about the load. Maybe it's expected of me.
If or when I go after more wood I will be using my trailer, which has surge brakes. Also plan on adding some more bands to the bundles. Didn't lose any wood on the way home, so I must have done something...
Some of the wood's pretty thin, but a decent amount of thicker stuff is hiding in there. Need to have one or two more bands on the wood so the bundles stay intact.
DD, truck has a dump on it.
Country, that blue truck is Spicergear's 2 1/2 ton with the cat engine. He has the 5 ton winch on...
