I third the idea to clean and power wash the huds. I went through 8 cans of break cleaner a 10 rolls of paper towels doing the front axle.
Just my thoughts, I know it can get expensive but I would buy all cylinders pads, and hoses. Replace everthing then bleed the system.
Good luck , please...
Like your idea, thanks for posting.
I put a K&N on my 1997 powerstroke and was not happy with the performance. Also, the oil residue it required seemed to collect dust and became clogged. Long story short I went back to paper. I hope it performs better in your application.
Are you thinking of...
Good to see another member in Georgia.
Where are you looking at for a deuce? If you have any questions post them. I love talking about the Deuce. Good luck with your purchase.
Why the glad hand connector guys if you have an air connection under the glove box. Just thread a quick connect to it. That's where I get my air.

How long and how...
Just my thoughts and it is your truck. However, I vote for removing both, I just don't feel it with the visor and hood. As always I would paint 3 color CARC camo, just love the camo.
Good to hear your working.
I bought from GL was lucky I got the truck that runs. This was an act of stupidity on my part, pure luck I got a good truck. I'm not trying to scare you away for GL becuase it's a bargin but there is 2x the amount of risk. A private party sell would allow a test drive at least.
Good luck
It took me, my dad and brother inlaw to hold and tighten the new ones on.
Wish I could be more help but we tried to do it with two guys and it kept coming off.
I agree new filters, I'd open the drain valve on my primary with the engine not running to confirm my pump is running.
The primary was easy loosen the bolt leave the wrench on the bolt and spin I off from below.
The secondaries work same way loose bolt on top remove canister.
