They also knocked a freeze plug into the block , either a hint that the block is no good or they wanted all the fluids out or both. It doesn't look like they intended on running that engine again. I guess I'd better research removing it. I hope its not too bad a job. Thanks

Within reason the diesel doesn't like back pressure, probably a 2 stroke diesel will need it. I personally don't like the stack, but to each his own. I would run a bigger pipe out the back when my stock ones need replacing.

For some reason I thought the 91's had a wider frame.

Wasn't the regular M1028 the shelter carrier. I have one with some of the hardware. I thought the dually might have had a special use. It looks tough.

The set of 3.42 from the 91 suburban, they won't fit will they? They are SF? Do you know if the FF from 73-80 3/4 ton will fit? and are there any with 3:08 if they do fit?
