Would the load rating be for a carried load? with the transport load being alot absorbed by the three rear axles on the HET...wouldn't that make the direct load on the HEMTT just mainly the nose of the HET and a little of the transport load? Pulled load is way...up there and cool but actual...
RE: Re: RE: M135/211 trans?
They are really good trucks. Great brakes, no real dependability issues engine wise, decent axles. The transmission, nowever, in stock form, is a crazy shifting machine. Contact Memphis Equipment and see if they have any of the REB transmission kits for those...
That picture is why I can't eat liver. Liver is the body's filter. Yuk.
Thanks for the filter reminder post. I think I'll change out my napa spin on again now-
The best thing, I would think, for someone wanting to build a heavy hauler bobbed deuce would be to grab a set of front springs from a five ton truck and use them in the rear of the bobbed truck. Front spring will take a bunch of weight...but don't go crazy. I gotta weigh the front of my truck...
My thoughts too. Why jimmy around with another electrical part when you can just pull off of one battery? PLEASE don't tell me that one guage is going to cause some type of uneven charge or something...
I have the 12V fuel solenoid pulled off of one battery for my CAT, works fine...even in...

Mine crapped out on me early on and others were hard to find or too expensive-- for an old one anyway. I got a 24 volt 1 wire alternator and no more messing around.
Yeah, that's my shop. My dad had put all that stuff up as he spent a lot of time out there smoking his pipe, warning me about oil spots on the floor, and drinking that rancid caffeine free diet pepsi. Ick. So I paint outside or do any engine break-ins outside. Welding and cutting but usually...
Is anyone going to Rausch Creek interested in any M35 front spring take offs? They're complete with hangers and chunk of frame so the only one to take them off is you...not some guy to ruin the hangers with a torch.
I have several sets at $150 per set-
They will go on ebay for more next...
I'll be there Friday by 10am. Won't have my big M715 as I won't borrow a trailer again (and add more gray hair). The Deuce is questionable...would like to have it there just because but have been working on several different parts of it and don't think they'll all get tied up for the trip...
