Don't try to spray stencils in 30 MPH winds...

Just saying.. :-p Lots of overspray...... I'll need to repaint the areas and start over in a couple of months when it warms up. I made a custom RF radiation stencil that looks better than I thought it would.. I have it on the back, and by each antenna mount (pass/driver). Pardon the rainy...

    ATF red dye?

Easy. Put a lock on your fuel fill. Tell them to get a warrant. They need a reason to believe that you're using dyed fuels, and refusing to let them dip is not sufficient. What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty, in this country?

    Two batteries, one tray.

The tie downs are rated for 1k lbs. I got in the engine bay and kicked the batteries as hard as I could, and I'm no small guy. Didn't budge. If I'm flying inverted at -4 Gs, then I have more important things to worry about than my batteries.. :D

Yup. Ratcheting tie down strap to secure them.

    Two batteries, one tray.

I have 2 group 31s (950CCA) on the battery tray closest to firewall.

    Cold startup procedure

Replace the battery. Deep discharge over long periods of time will destroy any battery.

    Accident aftermath (M1009)

So.... I'm in parking lot.. Driving down the 'main drag', well defined, concrete curbs, etc. You get the idea... When this 16 y/o chick decides that her burrito is more important than the road, and she pulls out of a taco bell, right into the corner of my truck... I don't have time to stop...

Fuse size based on Cable/wire size, right?

Stupid advice... Really stupid. 1. Fuses are slow blow, or fast blow. Most fuses need to exceed their rating by %200 or MORE to 'instantly' blow. 2. Do not use circuit breakers, in a dead short, dealing with high amperage, you're likely to fuse the breaker, welding the contacts together. 3...

Not a problem. We have more guns than they do. :tank:

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Ditto. The factory fuel filter has a built in heater, IIRC. Doesn't help the tank, though.

    Why not stud your tires?
