Where can I get my M1009 dirty, near NW Atlanta area?

With as hard of a time as you seem to have maintaining your M1009, why risk breaking something you probably can't fix?2cents

Newbie From Mississippi with a M35A2

Why do you want to convert to 12V? Or do you mean just add a 12V alternator and have a separate circuit to power 12V items?

    Light switch issue

The early switches had issues. Mine has been in my truck for over 5 years with zero problems.2cents

    Hunting

I would think he's talking about a muzzleloader not the 50 BMG.

    Widen fenders on M101

I believe Nickd did that on a M116 so that his mule would fit. There was a write up either on here or in MVM.

    What are these lights?

Yes, but aren't they a little smaller and mount in one of the smaller turn signal guards? Also, I think there's only one on a wrecker.

    What are these lights?

Kinda looks like IR. All the IR i've seen have been in a very heavy duty housing. However, I did find a newer style wrecker spotlight that was in the plastic case too, so I guess it's possible.

    Parts wanted?????????/

Anyone of a dozen+ dealers will have the part, why not just call them if you don't want to pay the $15? Or skim through old threads of people parting out trucks and PM them? I guess that's just too hard..... (but it is free)

    Deuce manufacturer

I really don't think the question is answered though. There were at least 12 manufacturers. GPD was a short period of time but they made a ton of them. DD specifically made a comment on how few of one there was, I just can't find it. I'm thinking it was #9. 1. Reo Motors 2. Studebaker 3...

    Deuce manufacturer

I remember a post from David D a long time ago talking about a short run multi-fuel deuce that was really pretty hard to find. Was it the 370 days of General Products Div? Or another, maybe the Lansing ones?

    1986 M1028, 454 Gasser......?

All CUCV's were diesels, no question about it. But, a 454 powered one would be nice....

Are you trying to put this bed on a CUCV truck? If so heck no! :cookoo:

    m105 Questions

The highest i've ever paid for a M105 was just under $200 from GL. I'd be very hesitant to pay over $350 unless it was one of the just refurbished ones complete with top etc... Also, the M101A1 I just picked up out of McCoy with top was $268 from GL. FYI.

    m105 Questions

It will be hard to keep it level unless the truck is lifted pretty good. The brakes will not work behind a pickup. If you get the adapter for the harness you will still need to change the bulbs. You'd be better getting a cheap magnetic set for 10-20$. I'd say 250-350$.

    New Steel Soldiers Admin/Webmaster!

On the map why are most markers coming up dark green. I know mine should be the lighter green (premium) and there's a mod or 2 that are also dark green? I would have thought it would be automatic??
